We read with great interest the Original Investigation from Raphael et al1 on factors associated with chemoradiation interruptions and noncompletion among patients with squamous cell anal carcinoma. In this Canadian population-based, retrospective cohort study, 1125 patients with stage I to III anal cancer were treated with curative-intent radiotherapy. This number is larger than any of the published randomized clinical trials with chemoradiation in squamous cell anal carcinoma.en_AU
