Abstract

Research Question: What is the optimal process for a professional modern flautist to learn historical flutes, without compromising the modern flute playing level? Hypotheses: -structured and organised approach, isolated practice, switch practice -physiological practitioners on learning methods and injury prevention Conclusion: - evidence emerged to support each of these hypotheses -neurological explanations behind compromised first language/first instrument technique discovered.
