dc.description.abstractIII-V semiconductor nanowires are promising for optoelectronic device applications. Applications of GaAs nanowires however have been limited due to low quantum/radiative efficiency. We discuss two approaches to increase the quantum efficiency of (Al) GaAs nanowires.
