Narrow line regions (NLR) are a major component of active galaxies, and commonly used as an indicator of the presence of an active galactic nucleus (AGN). Most of the analysis and theoretical work into NLRs so far has concentrated only on the narrow emission lines. However, NLRs show strong evidence of containing dust and will likely emit strongly in the infrared. Here, we model this radiation from NLRs, examining the effects of pressure and ionization parameter, and demonstrate that a large fraction of the NLR emission is emerges in the IR.
