Abstract

This collection was presented to the Australian National University by Professor P. A. Moran from the library of his father, Dr. H. M. Moran, M.B., Ch.M., F.R.A.C.S., F.R.C.S.E. (1885-1945). Included in the collection is a substantial part of the library of Christopher John Brennan, poet and scholar. Many of these books are of special interest by reason of the annotations in Brennan's hand; they are housed in the Librarian's room (41), strong room (42) or closed stack (44).
