Abstract

Vietnam is predicted to be one of the most vulnerable countries to the impacts of climate change. The Mekong River Delta will be the most vulnerable to sea level rise and increased risk of flooding 18 million residents. The majority of the Delta’s population are living in rural areas and their livelihoods rely heavily on farming activities that are sensitive to climatic variability.
