Abstract
Iha is a Trans New Guinea language from the western tip of New Guinea. Iha is the lingua franca of the Onin area, and has developed an isolating variant used by non-Iha people and when in communication with them; the variety described here is the mother-tongue of the inner north of the peninsula.
