Abstract

The COVID-19 incidence rose potentially alongside the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta Plus variant in Iran. Genomic efforts like that of COG in UK are required in other countries, particularly in low-income and middle-income countries. National and international mass vaccinations and extant countermeasures are critical for curbing the pandemic.
