Abstract

Exact analytical solutions describing multi-soliton complexes and their interactions were derived. The interactions of soliton complexes on top of a multi-component background in media with self-focusing or self-defocusing Kerr-like nonlinearities were analyzed in detail. Results demonstrated soliton collisions and field decomposition between localized and radiation modes which were in agreement with numerical examples.
