dc.description.abstract'Adverse events: Missed foreign body in facial wound of young female patient and avoidable delay in recognition and remedial treatment. Result: 6 kg weight loss from inability to eat properly for more than a month, chronic inflammation of face causing problems with salivation, facial numbness with severe pain for several months. Patient required avoidable surgery and patient might now have an opioid dependence from the painkillers prescribed during this time.en_AU
