Abstract

As the flood waters are receding in parts of NewSouth Wales and Queensland and new forecastsof heavy rain are released, important questionsemerge about the resilience of the Australian healthsystem, and ultimately of our communities, to theintensifying extreme events we have experienced inrecent years in the context of climate change.
