Abstract

A woman was treated after gave birth to her new born. She's lain down on a bamboo bed to receive extra heat from the make shift fire underneath of up to 38-40 degree C. The midwife usually an elderly woman was trained by a close relative who passed the skill on from generation, and doesn't have modern equipment to use during the delivery. The most sanitation is the hot boiling water to clean her rusted scissor to cut the baby's umbilical cord. Natural herbal medicine was provided by the Angka's nurse who comes to visit the mother and baby.
