Corruption in Australia and New Zealand

Abstract

This chapter explores four aspects of the anti-corruption measures that exist in Australia and New Zeland - Two countries highly ranked on the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index, but both experiencing corruption nevertheless. The four aspects move from black letter law to extraordinary responses, into agencies responsible for corruption investigation and prevention, then on to the prevntive structures inherent in codes of conduct, and finally how these countries fit into the international legal norms.
