Abstract

Justice John Basten formally retired as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Judge of Appeal in April 2022, appointments that he had held since 2 May 2005. Although his Honour will remain an Acting Judge of Appeal, this is an appropriate time to celebrate the career of one of Australia’s foremost thinkers on administrative law. Show more
