dc.description.abstractAs wind and PV energy generation extends into the 50-100% range over the next decade, a combination of additional interstate high voltage transmission, demand management and local storage is required to stabilise the grid. Our aim is to locate sites in Australia that are suitable for pumped hydro construction and to provide a site searching method for pumped hydro locations that is nimble and efficienten_AU
