Abstract

We demonstrate error free, low-penalty demultiplexing of a 640 Gbit/s OTDM signal to 10 Gbit/s using a 5cm long chalcogenide planar waveguide chip. Our approach exploits four-wave mixing by the instantaneous nonlinear response of chalcogenide.
