Abstract

The dependence of the stress fluctuations on the averaging time was analyzed. An effective viscosity coefficient depending on the averaging time was introduced and displayed graphically. The results showed that the required ensemble average can also be obtained from shorter parallel runs starting from statistically independent initial states.
