dc.description.abstractNgkolmpu is the westernmost language of the Yam family (Evans et al. 2018); it is one of the few Yam languages spoken entirely in Indonesia (Figure 1). There are two distinct dialects of Ngkolmpu: Ngkontar and Bedi. Ngkontar is the variety traditionally spoken in the vicinity of Yanggandur whilst Bedi is spoken in the coastal region near the contemporary village of Osnggayaen_AU
