Abstract

A coherent supercontinuum spanning 1.7-4 μm is generated in a novel chalcogenidesilica nano-spike waveguide pumped at 2 μm. Interference with a doubly-resonant OPO proves coherence, and enables sub-Hz locking of the OPO to the pump.
