Abstract
The central subject of the book is reached in Chapter 3, which provides a detailed examination of the archaeological evidence and environmental context of the nineteenth-century Strangways Springs Sheep Station, known by the local Arabana people as Pangki Warruna. Chapter 5 provides a comparative analysis of the archaeological and documentary evidence for Strangways Springs Station in order to explore the complexity of cross-cultural interaction.
