Abstract

Multiple steady states of a nonequilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) system of one dimensional heat flow were studied. Computation of heat conductivity for a one dimensional lattice of interacting particles was analyzed. Formation of a stable travelling wave called soliton and chaotic motion were the two possibilities proposed for the simulations.
