Abstract

Curated exhibition of 40 years of Ceramics of Greg Daly, for the Cowra Regional Art Gallery, and catalogue essay. This exhibition of Greg Daly's ceramics examines his over 40 years as a maker. Works are drawn from Daly's own collection covering his development of forms, platters, vases and bowls. Some works never have been exhibited before. These pots are used as a canvas for Daly's distinctive glazes and surfaces, incorporating gold and silver leaf, lustres of different types, enamels and acid etching. Recent pieces in the exhibition feature his new lustre glaze work relating to atmospheric light.
