| dc.description.abstract | Tropical limestone landscapes are frequently characterised by residual hills. This contrasts with the temperate climate "classical" karst where the landscape is made up of closed depressions or "dolines". These hill-dominated tropical landscapes are usually divided into (i) cone karst or "kegel karst" and (ii) tower karst or "turm karst" (Sweeting,1972). | en_AU |
