dc.description.abstractThis essay focuses on the works of Edwin, an interesting fringe filmmaker, and a familiar one in the short film circuit in Indonesia, who has consistently made quality short films with a strong conceptualization and visual style. Edwin is not exactly �a household name� as claimed on his Blind Pig website, and this marginal status bears stating as it situates the filmmaker as part of the �truly indie� film world.
