Abstract

products are developing new products to add value to the forest resource. Further, the Government, under its Wood & Wood Fibre Innovation Program, has provided $7M to assist 13 projects around the State to promote bioenergy, wood pellets and engineered wood products. There is no doubt that the plantation led forestry resurgence in Tasmania has capacity to grow and contribute to employment and economic activity in the State.
