Abstract

The theory of reduction of convex bodies is concerned with certain relations between a fixed symmetric convex body K and a variable lattice L in n-dimensional Euclidean space Rn. The fundamental concept in this theory is the K-reduced basis of the lattice L. For the definition of such a basis see [lO]a, p.279.
