Centenary of Canberra Tapestry project, organised by Valerie Kirk, with funding from Centenary Community Initiatives Fund $68000 and ACT Legislative Assembly $20,000 and Beryl Women's Group project $5000. Large scale tapestry woven by community members, exhibited at the Legislative Council alongside smaller tapestries woven by community members, including 5 tapestries by Valerie Kirk. Centenary tapestry permanently housed in the Legislative Assembly collection.
