Abstract

The operation of several types of condenser microphones was discussed. This included standard omnidirectional measuring microphones, simple cardioid microphones, and studio microphones with adjustable response pattern. All the standard techniques of electrical circuit analysis could be applied to work out the behaviour of the acoustic system.
