dc.description.abstractLecidea kelica Stirt., formerly accepted as a corticolous species of Catillaria is shown to belong to a new, monospecific genus here described as Stirtoniella in the family Ramalinaceae. Details of Stirtoniellia kelica, its synonymy, chemistry, ecology and distribution are presented. It is known from New Zealand and Tasmania.
