dc.description.abstractFor environmental models to be effectively used for management and decision making purposes it is necessary to have confidence in their performance. This paper reviews techniques available for performance evaluation of environmental models. Both quantitative and qualitative performance evaluation are considered and application recommendations for environmental models are provided.
