Abstract

Since the genetic code and the principles of protein synthesis were deciphered in the 1960s, an abundance of new detail of mRNA translation have been discovered. We already reported on research into the ribosome in BIOspektrum 1/2019. Here, the regulation of translation and the participation of newly discovered RNA molecules shall be in focus.
