Simulation: a pedagogy emerging from the shadows

Abstract

In no Common Law jurisdiction is simulation regarded as part of law’s “signature pedagogy.” Yet other professions such as business, and professions where performance can be life-critical such as medical education and aviation, use a variety of simulation activities that are at once learning zones and high-stakes assessment for novice professionals in these disciplines.
