A study was performed on the generation of robust self-sustained clusters of soliton bullets. The structures were generated numerically for a nonlinear optical medium with competing quadratic and cubic nonlinearities. The atoms which formed the molecule were fully three-dimensional solitons linked through a staircaselike macroscopic phase.
