Abstract

This expert report was prepared for the Australian Government Solicitor, for the case: BC Galleries (VIC) Pty Ltd v Commonwealth of Australia [2012] FMCA 742 (23 August 2012). It provides an expert assessment regarding the origins and authenticty of Chinese antiquities. The report was commissioned by the AGS as part of their prosecution case regarding possible illegal importation of antiquities to Australia.
