Abstract

This chapter presents a theoretical analysis of the kind of love that involves sexuality, of the high expectations it generates and the uncertainty that they will be fulfilled. In order to bring light to this examination distinctions between sexuality, love drive ("eros") and love proper ("agape") are made. Further, personalist philosophy notions including those of nature, person, rationality, relationship and several kinds of love are explored. In the end it is submitted that only when it becomes conjugal can sexed love develop its full potential. Show more
