Abstract

Critical qualitative inquiry is well placed to contribute to policy change by altering beliefs, producing new policy problems and proposing alternative solutions. However, both qualitative and quantitative researchers must consider the ontological politics of their research and actively participate in evidence events to enable research to impact policy.
