dc.description.abstractIn response to Helena Robinsons paper on collaboration and civic participation in the Encounters exhibition (Robinson, 2017) this article explores multiple axes of collaboration around which cross-cultural collaborative cultural productions in museums and beyond are configured. Arguing for the need for close examination of the situated nature of all collaborative endeavours the paper examines some of the challenges presented in practicing and researching collaborative practices in the cultural sectoren_AU
