Translational incorporation of L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine into proteins
An Escherichia coli cell-free transcription/translation system was used to explore the high-level incorporation of L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) into proteins by replacing tyrosine with DOPA in the reaction mixtures.
