The reactions of heterobimetallic μ-alkylidyne complexes [MFe(μ-CR)(CO)n(η-C5H5)] (M = W, Mo; R = C6H4Me-4 (R1), C6H3Me2-2,6 (R2); n = 5, 6) with elemental tellurium are reported. For [WFe(μ-CR1)(CO)n(η-C5H5)] (n = 5 or 6), the only isolated product
