Quantum field effects in coupled atomic and molecular Bose-Einstein condensates

Description

Quantum field statistical effects were observed in coupled atomic and molecular Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC). The parameter regimes in which the condensates do not obey the Gross-Pitaevskii equation were examined. Stochastic field equations for coupled atomic and molecular condensates were derived to describe the full quantum state of the condensates.
