Description
Coherent and consistent differentiation of the categories of tool, implement, core and retouched flake has proved difficult in lithic analysis. By applying a materialist model to reconceptualise these categories it becomes possible toidentify them with minimal ambiguity and ot employ these identifications to discuss technological and use behaviours.
