Abstract

A scheme for message communication over specified domains has been developed and implemented for the AP1000. Domains provide a higher level grouping of messages where generic message typing is not sufficient to support abstracted software layers. The implementation is efficient in the sense that each domain has its own message queue, eliminating the need for searching queues on domain keys. Additional advantages of domains are also discussed.
