Memory CD8+ T Cell Responses Expand When Antigen Presentation Overcomed T Cell Self-Regulation

Antimicrobial memory CD8+ T cell responses are not readily expanded by either repeated infections or immunizations. This is a major obstacle to the development of T cell vaccines.
