Verbal number, argument number and plural events in Marori
This paper discusses number and plurality in the nominal and verbal domains of Marori (isolate, Trans New Guinea). Marori shows evidence that verbal number and argument/nominal number should be distinguished, even though they are integrated in a complex way, with some parallelism in the constructed mode of expressing limited plural (paucal).
