dc.description.abstractThe effect of possible tensor forces in the deuteron-nucleus interaction on DWBA calculations for deuteron stripping has been studied for l = 1 transitions in the 40Ca(d, p)41Ca reaction leading to the 2.47 MeV ( 3- 2) and 3.95 MeV ( 1- 2) levels. The j-dependence of the cross sections and vector analysing powers has been investigated.en
