The paper considers the problem of robust active noise control in an acoustic duct. In particular, the paper considers how the number of actuator speakers affects the performance of the system. The robust controller design methodology being considered is based on some recent results on minimax LQG control. The paper also uses a structured approach to uncertainty modelling as part of the controller design scheme.en
