Welcome Message from the Program Chairs

Abstract

The gathering of software engineering researchers in Hamilton, New Zealand on the 6th to the 9th of December, 2016 is the 23rd such meeting of the minds and marks another chapter in the long tradition of software engineering research across this large region. New Zealand's Software Engineering community is particularly honoured to host the Asia-Pacific Software Engineering community especially since almost all our Universities have software engineering researchers on their academic staff who all contribute regularly at the primary venues such as ICSE, TSE, ASE, FSE, SPLASH, MODELS, and, of course at regional venues such as APSEC.
