Abstract
Monolithic integrated Er-doped waveguide amplifiers with more than 10 dB net fibreto-fibre gain under 1480 nm pumping are demonstrated, paving the road for room temperature sputtered Er:TeO2 thin film to CMOS-compatible integrated photonics.
