Abstract

"It gives me great pleasure to introduce the ANU Indigenous Research Directory – Your Goals, Our Strengths. Across the pages of this directory you will find the details of the great many ANU academics whose research is relevant to Indigenous peoples. The incredible depth and breadth of the research in this area is a critical element to achieving our 2018-19 ANU Reconciliation Action Plan. Our commitment to a leadership role in reconciliation and a clear vision and ambition around engagement with Indigenous Australians, is highlighted through the many researchers who are showcased in this Directory. I encourage you to utilise this Directory and reach out to create new discussions and partnerships and in doing so, further the work towards our goal of leading the conversation on Indigenous reconciliation and recognition. I hope to see the number of names in this directory grow, as we continue to open dialogue and recognise the impact of the work being invested in across ANU." MESSAGE FROM THE VICE CHANCELLOR Professor Brian P. Schmidt, AC FAA FRS Vice Chancellor and President
