Description

Gary is widely recognised for his ethnographic film classics Trobriand Cricket (1976) and Celso and Cora (1983). Following the release of Koriam's Law (2006), he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Festival Jury of the American Anthropological Association and first prize at the Royal Anthropological Institute International Film Festival.
